Biography
Bri Vigorito graduated from Barnard College in 2022 with a degree in Dance and Psychology. During her time as a student, Bri enjoyed being an active member of the admissions office as a Head Student Admissions Representative. In addition to her studies in psychology, she conducted psychological research in the Barnard Social Interaction Lab and interned at the Depression and Anxiety Center at Mount Sinai. Through her classes and research, she developed an interest in education and its relationship to development and mental health. After graduating, she took on the role of Associate Teacher at Madison Avenue Day School where she taught in a Twos classroom. Bri’s passion for higher education and love for her alma mater brought her back to Barnard as an Admissions Officer in May 2023. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, performing, and playing with her dog Boo.

Why did you choose to work at Barnard?
My own experience as a student at Barnard was so wonderful and inspiring that I just had to come back!
What is your favorite book?
Julián Is a Mermaid by Jessica Love (I love children’s books).
What is your favorite thing to do in NYC?
Taking dance classes, performing & seeing performances, walking through Central Park!
What is your favorite place on campus?
Any spot by the windows in Milstein Library.
What is a random fun fact about yourself?
I love vintage fashion and thrifting.
